"Wilbert Taylor has returned to his home in Ottisfield (sic) - Mrs.
Ali Mink visited her parents in Appleton, Tuesday - Mrs. H.H. Fogler went
to Augusta Tuesday and returned home Friday - Mrs. D.J. Bowley and Mrs.
Ali Mink were in Warren Thursday. School closed in district no. 7, Friday
the 15th - Mrs. Martha Vogler has been visiting relatives in Augusta the
past week - Grange sociable at Thaddeus Hastings last Saturday."

"Mrs. Clara Mansfield of Hope was this week paid $1000 through the
agency of Bird & Barney, being the amount of policy upon the life of
the late D.H. Mansfield. The insurance was paid only a few days after death."
