Ezekiel H.Athearn is actually buried at Beaufort Military Cem in Port Royal, SC. he died of illness while in the Civil War (8th.Maine Regt.). It says on the stone "in SC". (Arthur Small, Oct 2010 note.) Lucy Jane Pease is dau., of Norton Pease and Waitstill Wentworth.

Note received from Tom Hardy (May 2011): In the Town vital records, Family Register #22 in very clear script his date of death is given August 4, 1863 Port Royal. Civil war records provide his date of enlistment and comfirm his death date.
