There were 114 colonies in groups of 6.
It was a partially cloudy day with very strong
activity by the bees. One of the blueberry fields is in the background.
Another field was behind the photographer with thousands of bees going back
and forth across the road on which the photographer stood.
Two boxes stacked one on top of the other, holds a single colony. There were a total of 19 such groups. The air was thick with bees going in and out of the colonies. Entrances are at the bottom.
