The Hope Historical Society is planning a display at the town office of Civil War artifacts that have a
connection to the town of Hope. If you have items that you would like to see as part of this exhibit, we
would be happy to include them.

The display will begin by this coming Memorial Day. It is our hope to change this display from time to time
during the course of the Sesquicentennial of the Civil War, with the initial exhibit ending in October 2011,
at which time the material will be returned to the owners and other items displayed.

Pictures of Hope men who served during the Civil war would be welcomed, and we would be happy
to scan them to protect the originals from fading.

If anyone would like to donate items to the historical society for permanent display at the historical house,
