HOPE HISTORICAL SOCIETY

MINUTES FOR JUNE 20, 2017

The meeting was called to order by President, Donovan Bowley at 7:00 P.M. Those attending were Donovan Bowley, Gwen Brodis, Ann Leadbetter, Barbara Ludwig, Marie Berry, Ted Steele, James Delahanty, Paula Delahanty, Ron Smith, Bill Jones, Judith Jones and Linda Hillgrove. Guests were Kristine Dyer and Nolan Steele.

SECRETRYs Record Book is underway. Bob Appleby has prepared disks containing the Town Clerk Record Book for us by the transcribers. Contact Donovan if you wish to participate.

NEW BUSINESS: The septic system is backed up due to the Maple tree roots invasion. A facility is provided at the end of the barn until the exaction is completed.

Marie Berry will open the HHS Home on Friday, July 7; August 4th and September 1st from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. to assist visitors.

Marie Berry provided refreshments. Ann and Linda Hillgrove will provide refreshments for the July 18th meeting.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Hope Historical Society Home.
